New Database Planned

The database of registers for Cromwell House, the hospital’s convalescent home, is now complete and work has begun to add this to the website. When it is launched (expected early September 2008) users will be able to search for children in both databases simultaneously or individually, tracking a child’s progress through the hospital’s two institutions. As the article ‘Like a Second Home’ illustrates, for some children Great Ormond Street and Cromwell House became their homes for months and sometimes years at a time. Keep a look out for more news on this exciting addition to Small and Special.
